Most liberal media are quick to justify spending on ceremonies to welcome the new President Obama by comparing it with the spending for former President Bush. This is unjustified since the unique economic situation faced by Americans (and largely due to that, the world over) in 2009 is radically different than anytime in the recent past.

Moreover, claiming that corporation money is not being accepted is a crude joke, since individuals are paying $50,000 to secure tickets to witness the new President take charge.

$50,000 each to throw away during these times is disgusting enough. To discover that such scums of earth are friends of the upcoming President or that the President may need such peoples’ wishes is nightmarish.

This is no “change”. This is the “hope”-less tradition of the wealthiest making merry by throwing cakes around.
